Nancy Ltd. is partner in a wind energy project on the island of Nólsoy in the Faroe Islands. The wind site close to the village has 9.5 m/s average wind speed. Wind turbines will be erected to produce energy for space heating and replace existing oil burners. This will decrease dependence on imported oil and be beneficial for the environment. It is expected that this project will be copied to other villages in the Faroe Islands and abroad.
